Chitwan is 169.4 km away from Kathmandu. The world-heritage listed Chitwan National Park is regarded as Nepal’s most popular national park, as it conserves at least 68 species of mammals. The glorious one-horned rhino is one of the biggest prides of the national park. The town is popular among tourist for a range of activities. Jungle Safari with or without the local guides, Elephant Ride throughout the forest, Canoe Ride and the very famous Bird Watching. Chitwan National Park is one of the biggest and internationally recognized parks. Look out for the majestic albeit shy Royal Bengal Tiger! The sunset, the ambience and country-like aura will grip you right till the end. Vegetation, birds and fauna also contribute to the beauty of the park. More than 50 species are found here including some of the world’s tallest grasses like the elephant grass. This can be considered one of the best places for viewing wildlife and vegetation. Visitors seeking for wildlife will have greater opportunity of viewing rare species. Program Itinerary
Day 1: Chitwan is 169.4 km away from Kathmandu, it’s a five hour drive. You can get there by tourist bus, air or private car. We arrange transportation as per your convenience. You will be taken to the hotel upon arrival. Refreshment served, enjoy the nature and call it a day.
Day 2: Breakfast at 7 am. After breakfast we will head for the jungle safari. This includes activities which are fun and full of adventure. Lunch and dinner will be provided.
Day 3: Breakfast at 7 am. Head to the next destination or return back to Kathmandu.
