Pokhara is one of the most touristic destinations of the country. Surrounded by turquoise lakes, Pokhara exudes the finest scenic beauty around. It is located in the Gandaki zone (203 kilometers west of Kathmandu Valley).
This place is known for its lake, cave and mountains. Second largest Lake of Nepal, Phewa Lake is the main attraction of Pokhara. As reflection of mount Machhapuchhre (fishtail) can be seen from the lake. Another attraction of the lake is the two storied temple of Barahi Bhagwati temple, situated on the middle of the lake. Mahendra Cave is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Pokhara Valley. World Peace Pagoda is another famous attraction which was constructed by balancing on a narrow ridge high above Phewa Lake. Davis Falls is a waterfall located at Pokhara. The breathtaking view of snow clad mountains with an utterly peaceful ambience entirely defines Pokhara. One of the most visited and beautifully eccentric sights Sarangkot is located at an altitude of 1600m Sarangkot. It is considered an ideal place for sunrise and sunset views.
Program Itinerary
Day 1: Seven hours drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You can reach there by air, private car and tourist bus. We arrange transportation as you wish. Check in to the hotel after reaching Pokhara. Sightseeing of the city, initially.
Day 2: Breakfast at 7am. You will contribute your whole day for beauty of Pokhara. We will be taking you to the most fascinating places of Pokhara. Lunch will also be provided on the way. Places:
-Phewa Lake and Barahi Bhagwati
-Mahendra Cave
- Davis Falls
-K.I Singh Bridge
Day 3: A 45 minutes drive to the place (Sarangkot) at 5:30 in the morning.
You will be taken back to the hotel in order to relax for some time. We provide lunch and a short hike will be waiting for you on the way to World Peace Pagoda.
Day 4: Breakfast at 7 A.M. and with the beautiful memories we will head back to Kathmandu.
