This Tibet Overland tour ends at Mt. Kailash, 6,740 m. to the north of Tibet. It is widely celebrated as the spiritual center for religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion and the Bonpo. For Tibetans,
Mount Kailash is the navel of the world. Major rivers like the Indus, the Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra), the Karnali and the Sutlej all originate from Kailash.
